The True Meaning of Microsoft Xp

Post  Quicksilver on Wed Aug 20, 2008 11:15 am

So what do you think XP in Microsoft Windows XP stands for? If you guessed eXPerience or eXtreme programming then you are WRONG!

See the undermentioned greek letterings:
                                                                           χρ
Those who have paid a little more attention to their greek will know them to be Chi (χ) Rho (ρ). A little change in the spelling and we get - Cairo!!
               Cairo
was famous Microsoft codename originally used for Windows NT 4.0, but also described a set of technologies that didn’t all make it into 4.0. Cairo was envisioned as the ultimate operating system, with a set of ambitious set of features but it never met its deeadlines. The remaining technologies that were originally targeted for Cairo were eventually added in bit and pieces to all of the versions of windows succeeding Windows NT 4.0 which reached completion with Windows XP… xp being the real Cairo.
